Sky awash with blue

Sun warming my face.

Driving rain bounces,

Dancing wisps of fog gather

Lightning strikes! Thunder!

Rain pouring, wind whips;

Sounds of spring abound me round.

Where's my umbrella?

A moment of sun

Good to be out of the cold

The smell of lilac

awake Ladybug

your winter rest is over

leave my window pane

swallows dodge and dart

flight skills will attract a mate

nest are selected

dresses prettily

white giggles off lanky limbs

cherry tree greets spring

Birds sing all at once

But three notes ring through the rest

At last, Spring is here!

wind tosses her hair

cross white chill promises eyes

I don't know it's name

But I hear a bird singing

As if it were spring
